Let me introduce myself. My name is Carlos Mora Cavallini. I am a native Costarrican and have been working as an official tour guide since 1980. Working in the tourism industry for many years, I have gained many contacts, who with me can help you to realize your vacation here at very affordable rates.

I currently work as a freelance guide for a very well respected company called EF Tours, which has its head office in Lucerne, Switzerland, but also has several other branches scattered throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. This company specializes in educational tours, giving visitors a great introduction to Costa Rica, its nature and its people.

I have a degree in Biology, but Ornithology is my major field of expertise and my passion. I also have excellent communication skills, having worked teaching English as a second language at both High School and College levels.

I can tailor a tour to meet your specific requirements. I am insured as a Driver-Guide and can accommodate up to 3 guests for a private tour  in my Classic Range Rover. Alternatively, for larger groups, I can help arrange the hire of a suitable vehicle.
